I was shocked when I saw this man in Kuliyapitiya town.

"But we did enjoy our travel because it was a kind of good experience to travel with friends. After we reached the Kuliyapitiya town, I didn't forget to have a little conversation with him, because that man was an example of the......??"

You know somehow I engaged with Kuliyapitiya since 01st March 2016. There is an interesting story behind this bond because on 01st March 2016 was the first day of my university life (Wayamba University of Sri Lanka). Where I met too many friends, families, neighbours and shop owners.

Kuliyapitiya town is one of the main towns in Kurunegala district and it is located 89 km far from Colombo Pettah bus station. It is nearly a two hours journey if you take bus number 92 an intercity which going through Katunayake expressway, Negombo, Kochchikade, Dankotuwa, Naththandiya and then Udubaddawa junction through direct Kuliyapitiya town. And Kuliyapitiya is the place where the Wayamba University of Sri Lanka is located.
It has nearly 20 km from Kuliyapitiya town to Kurunegala main town.

It was a day of the fasting period of Ramazan, eid season on 12th June 2018.
I was in my boarding place with my friends Musadiq, Rasith, Musthaq, Mahir, and Najath. We were talking about our Eid dress purchasing and related things, at that time we went through many conversations.
Later it was nearly half-past five in the evening. we hurried to go out because we had to break our fast at 06.20 pm. So we had to arrange our foods. At last, we decided to go to Kuliyapitiya town and buy short eats.

After that while waiting for a bus a man from the same village came to me and told that the last bus went a few minutes ago.

Ohh! we felt really upset because somehow we have to go to town within 20 minutes.

A few minutes later when we were walking towards the main road a lorry which has to pass us, stopped next to us and asked us to get into the back of the lorry which has no seats, no roof or a covering.

But we did enjoy our travel because it was a kind of good experience to travel with friends. After we reached the Kuliyapitiya town, I didn't forget to have a little conversation with him, because that man was an example of kindness.

Finally, we started walking through a few markets in kuliyapitiya town which were filled with groceries, fashion stores, and shoe stores.

we saw a restaurant ahead which was not so large but could manage for nearly 15 people. we decided to buy short eats from that restaurant. but once we entered the shop, the shopkeeper asked us to come and sit in because it was nearly 06.20 pm.

Later servants of the restaurant arranged dates, short eats, and drinks for us. The shop owner too helped them to arrange those items. suddenly the shop owner came to us and told,

"We are not charging for anything.....and if you want some more, let us know we will arrange.."

I was shocked when I saw this man with great kindness, because of the way he dressed up he looked really charmed. I felt proud of that Sri Lankans whom I met in Kuliyapitiya town.
